How to Enter: The Screenvision Direct (“Sponsor”) “And the Award Goes To…” contest begins on February 7, 2007 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on February 24, 2007 at 11:59 PM ET (“Contest Period”). To enter, (i) click on the contest link within the February Newsletter which will take you to the contest page, and (ii) enter your Award predictions and provide personal information (“Entry”) then hit submit. Limited to one (1) Entry per person during the entire Contest Period. All required Entry information must be completed in full. Entries in violation of these Official Rules will be disqualified. Entries that include obscenities, objectionable material, defame or invade the publicity or privacy rights of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any third party’s personal or proprietary rights will be disqualified.
Eligibility: This contest is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States (including the District of Columbia) who are physically located and residing therein (excluding Guam, Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. territories and possessions) and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of January 1, 2007. Employees of any Sponsor entity and/or members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents) and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related are ineligible to enter contest.
Judging: All eligible Entries received will be reviewed or about March 2, 2007 by the Screenvision Direct Marketing Department, who will randomly select three (3) winners from a pool of entries with the correct answers (or two answers, if necessary). If there are no potential winning entries, no prizes will be issued. The potential winners will be subject to verification of eligibility.
Prize: Three (3) Winners: All three winners with the most correct answers will receive approximately $200 in Fandango Bucks. No substitution, transfer or cash equivalent for any prize (or prize component), except that Sponsor, at its sole discretion, may substitute a prize (or prize component) of equal or greater value for any reason. In the event that the full prize component is not available for any reason, then remaining elements of prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor’s prize obligation to winner and no additional compensation will be awarded.
Winner Notification: Potential winners will be notified by phone at the number provided with the Entry on/about March 2, 2007.
If potential winners cannot be reached after Sponsor has exerted reasonable efforts, if he/she is found to be ineligible, he/she
cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, and/or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable,
potential winners will be disqualified and, if applicable, alternate potential Winners may be randomly drawn from the relevant
pool of potential winners at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
General Conditions: This contest is subject to these Official Rules and all applicable federal, state, and local laws (collectively “Rules and Laws”). By entering the contest, entrants agree to all of the following: to be bound by these Rules and Laws, as well as the decision of judges which are final and biding in all respects; to indemnify and hold harmless the contest Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions and related companies, each collectively the “Sponsor Entities” from any and all liability resulting or arising from use of any Entry; to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceedings against the contest Sponsor Entities; to waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in the Official Rules; may disqualify any potential winning Entry and an alternate potential winning Entry may be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Disclaimers: Sponsor Entities are not responsible or liable for multiple entries, entries that are entered by other than means (such as by mail) or for entries that are illegible, late, tampered with, incomplete, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules and such entries will be disqualified. By entering contest, entrants agree and acknowledge that Sponsor Entities shall have no responsibility or liability in connection with: participation in this contest; human error, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry information; acceptance/possession, use/misuse and/or defects of the prize awarded herein; any technical malfunctions of the computer online system, to access contest due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrants (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of this contest; any l ost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects or any other errors or malfunctions; even if caused by the negligence of the Sponsor; any loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity that may be caused or contributed to (1) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the prize suppliers, servants, employees or independent contractors, (2) by any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of Sponsor, or (3) by any other cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the control of Sponsor Entities. Each entrant agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor Entities from any and all harm, injury, damages or liability resulting or arising from use by Sponsor and/or Official Rules.
