New York - (Sept. 28, 2006)

Winning Script to be Produced into Short Film and Showcased in Screenvision’s High Definition Digital Preshow in 2007

Screenvision, the global leader in cinema advertising, will provide one talented filmmaker a chance to see his or her creation brought to life on the silver screen with the launch of the “Short Script – Big Screen” Competition. Open to qualified professionals in the advertising, marketing and media industries, the Competition invites entrants to demonstrate their creativity by submitting for consideration a two-minute short script on the subject of their choice. The winning script will be produced into a short film that will be shown as part of a national Screenvision digital entertainment preshow to air in 2007.

The winning script will be determined by Screenvision and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. The UCB is the critically-acclaimed launching pad for a new generation of comedic talent and Screenvision’s production partner on the project. The UCB will provide a skilled production team as well as talent to appear in the film. The Competition’s winner will act as Executive Producer in addition to their writing recognition.

The “Short Script – Big Screen” competition is Screenvision’s latest innovation in helping redefine the cinema advertising preshow medium. In the last year, Screenvision has significantly expanded the effectiveness of cinema as an advertising platform and the entertainment value for moviegoers by introducing such creative applications as special themed pre-shows, original animated entertainment shorts, and unique integrated marketing platforms that encompass both on-screen and in-theatre marketing elements.

Entries for Screenvision’s “Short Script – Big Screen” Competition will be accepted through November 15, 2006. Log on to www.screenvision.com for more information.
