SCREENVISION NAMES MEDIA INDUSTRY VETERAN MICHAEL CHICO EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

Prominent Media Executive Joins Company to Oversee Sales Activity and Expand Out-Of-Home Media Footprint
Screenvision, the global leader in cinema
advertising, has hired media sales veteran Michael Chico as its new Executive Vice
President, Sales. The announcement was made today by Matthew Kearney, CEO,
Screenvision
In his new position, Chico will be responsible for all revenue generation from national,
regional and local advertising of Screenvision cinema advertising activities.
Additionally, he will work with the management team to identify and launch
Screenvision representation of other alternative out-of-home media platforms.
Chico comes to Screenvision with more than 20 years experience in the media buying
and advertising sales fields, with a primary focus in broadcast sales. Most recently
Chico was Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales for Madison Square Garden, Inc.
While at this post his scope of work included the MSG and Fox Sports Net New York
networks, as well as signage, integrated marketing and naming rights for Madison
Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.

veteran in advertising media sales who has an impressive track record in both traditional

other media spaces.”

In overseeing national, regional and local sales strategy, Chico will be responsible for
one of the largest sales forces in the media industry -- with approximately 200 full timeexecutives.
Reporting directly to Chico are: Michael Sakin, Vice President, National
Sales, West Coast; Victor Germain, Vice President, National Sales, East Coast; Loren
Venturi-Miller, Vice President, Corporate Sales; and Janice Meyers, Vice President,
Regional Sales. And working together with Rebecca Hartman, SVP Screenvision Direct,
Chico will help oversee Screenvision's local advertising sales, including this division's
130 sales executives.
Prior to his work at Madison Square Garden, Chico held executive positions at both NBC
television and ABC television. Chico also held management positions at ESPN, Inc.,
Capital Cities, Blair Television Inc and A.C. Nielsen Company.
